Every day is an adventure in the Clesceri home...Check back often for the everyday and not-so-everyday blurps and updates on the happenings around our home... "Consider this an air brushed version of our life...our adventures don't always work out perfectly, but it's all about what we make of them and how we chose to see them"

Golder Ranch posted some pictures of the academy in action on their facebook page. Here are some of them that show Mike in action as well. Golder has the yellow helmets, Northwest has the black. So Mike has a yellow helmet on with a 'Team 3' helmet tag on it.
Here are more pictures as well, many good shots of many great friends...

Most of you know through email or phone that things have changed yet again for the Clesceris over the past two weeks. Always an adventure with us, always full of surprises, and ALWAYs forever changing around here...
Mike was released from the academy at week 12 of 14. I wont get into it here, but anything that seemingly looks negative can always, always be turned around for the positive. The perspective you see something-anything-from is always, yes always, a choice that you have control over. I tell our kids all the time- you can't control the choices and decisions other people make, but you can always control how you respond to them. It's the response that shows your true character and values.
A good friend of the family, who happens to be my sister's boyfriend, put this quote up on his facebook page shortly after all this went down-
"I can only be defeated if I give up or die, and I'm not giving up" Richard Machowicz Navy SEAL
I love that and along the same lines is this-
"We are not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and obtain life" -Hebrews 10:39
Pretty much wraps up things with this whole experience.
So, with that said, Mike had found a job to provide for our family and started working a week after he was let go. He's on a five day work week, 8-5; a schedule he hasn't worked with for a loong time...try over five years! He's either been on shift work with Southwest or working from home on a four day work week with FFH. It's taking some getting used to, that's for sure, but we are truly blessed and amazed at how things have worked out. And we are excited about what's on the horizon and beyond and what more we have to learn between here and there...

A Year Ago.........
It is amazing that a year ago to this day I was on my bed with my back feeling like it was broken, and could not get up at all. I remember Adriana was at Prescott with the kids and left me home to rest and get better. It is amazing to me how fast a year goes by, it is even more amazing to me to see how many things can change in one year?
Let’s think about this for a second....... in one years time all the cool things that has been accomplished and what has truly changed!
Hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July.
