Things are just moving right along here in clesceri-world.

Nothing notable to report in the employment arena. Mike is still unemployed but keeping busy with interviews and such.

Kids have been doing good. They take their turns with coughs, but other than that, health wise they're doing great!

Niko has lost yet another tooth. He has been working hard at his pinewood derby car for Royal rangers. he is quite the sander. He also did really well with his rocket the other week and had a real 'blast' launching it with the other boys. They were all worn out by the end of the day after chasing after them each time they launched.

Bethany has been keeping busy with her friends around the neighborhood. She looks forward to going to Yoga every Monday at one of the neighbors house. There is a decent size group of kids that get together and one of the mom's teaches it to the group in their home. Fun for them.

Matthew was quite the salesman with his school fundraiser. Him and Bethany went to the neighbors that we knew and he sold quite a few. Very impressive.

The three of them also look forward to playing Capture the Flag with the neighborhood every Wednesday. It's quite the event. there are a good 25-30 kids that show up each week and play.

Yesterday we all went to the Superstition Mountains to go hiking. It was such a great hike, as it always is. It's so sad that the State is shutting a huge majority of our state parks, including our favorites, in June because of budget cuts. Just doesn't make sense to us. So we need to enjoy them while we can. They have played such a huge role in the memories of our kids gowing up. Fun family time at these places...

A couple days ago a hot air balloon made an emergency crash landing in our backyard...well, in the greenbelt two houses down, but it was still quite a scene from what Mike tells me. I was gone, he was home to watch it all happen...

As for me, schools been challenging this semester. more so than last semester, believe it or not. Not sure if i mentioned here or not that I passed my national registry for emts test, so I am officially a certified EMT ready for employment.

Mike worked at Ak-Chin Fire Department on valentine' day this weekend. But the kids and I had a great day and a special dinner, as we do every year. I posted pics on facebook, but I will post some here too. Good memories.

Mike and I snuck away for a lunch date today. It was nice to put on some makeup and enjoy some good conversation with my sweetheart. We sat 2 feet away from one of the Mesa fire chiefs and had a good conversation with him when we were done.
